In a laboratory with a high biosafety level, in pharmaceutical production or in a nuclear installation, air is no longer a comfort question. It has to be filtered, flow in a controlled way and must not escape anywhere. For this, Peek supplies the filter and shut-off systems of Krantz Filter- und Absperrsysteme in the Netherlands.

In the duct: filtration
SCF hightec Triple S
Stainless steel filter housing with triple sealing system, bag-in/bag-out, in-situ scanner to EN ISO 29463-4 and decontamination connections; for high-security laboratories of level 3 and 4; max. 3,400 m³/h nominal (krantz.de; old Peek website).
SCF hightec
Modular safe-change filter housing up to 48,000 m³/h; housing and filter seat tight to DIN 25 496 (krantz.de).

Compact stainless steel filter housing, housing for circular ducts, mobile unit and re-cleanable system (krantz.de).

In the duct: isolating and holding pressure
Gas-tight shut-off dampers: GD-C (circular, DN 80–400, 10,000 Pa), GD-R (rectangular, fail-safe possible) and GD-S (inflatable seal), gas-tight to DIN 25 496 (krantz.de; old Peek website).
Non-return damper: RK-E20, blast damper RK-F10 (0.45 bar, without auxiliary power), pressure relief dampers KL-E, KL-EM, KL-ETE and KL-ETM for duct protection and pressure cascades of 50–150 Pa between rooms (krantz.de; old Peek website).

Gas-tight doors: GT in stainless steel, bag sealing unit HSD for contamination-free filter change, leak tester LTD for test grooves of dampers and filter seats (krantz.de).
