You only really judge a diffuser once you see it hanging above you. So you can place ours at true size in your own room, using the phone or tablet already in your hand. No app, no install: you choose the size and your ceiling height, and the diffuser hangs at that height above the point on the floor. Look up.
That is more useful than it sounds. A 595 × 595 mm diffuser is a number on paper; above a meeting table it is an object with a size. How far it sits from the wall, how it relates to a beam or a light fitting, whether the face recedes or draws the eye — a drawing will not tell you.
How it works
- Pick the type you want to see below. You land on the product page, at the View in your space block.
- Choose the duct connection and the version. Every type has several; the list only offers what actually exists.
- Choose your ceiling height. The diffuser then hangs at that height, not on the floor. The list only offers heights that suit that type.
- Point your camera at the floor and place the point. Walk around it.
On a computer you get a QR code instead of the button. Scan it with your phone and you return to the same page with your choices already made.
What you are looking at
The models come from Krantz and show the real dimensions. They are meant for judging size, placement and proportion, not for reading an air pattern off them. The smoke plume indicates the direction of discharge and scales with the size, but it is not a throw measurement: for that we calculate a selection in Kompaus. Do ask us for that calculation.
This is a trial version. The display may still change, and not every type in the collection has a model yet. If one you need is missing, let us know.
