Air principle
From outlet to occupied zone.
At the outlet
Many radial slots, each with its own twisted, highly inductive jet. (DS 1146 E p. 5)
In the room
Mixing makes the velocity drop quickly. The flow rises with the thermal plumes, and warm air leaves the room at the ceiling. (DS 1146 E p. 5)
Construction
A swirl element with radial slots, a distribution basket (optionally with throttle damper) and a clamping ring with fixing, or a stepped bore in the floor panel. Optional plenum box. (DS 1146 E p. 2–3)

Versions and sizes
Two sizes, polycarbonate or aluminium.
- DN 150
- DN 200
DS 1146 E p. 3
Finish
polycarbonate dust grey RAL 7037; DN 200 also in aluminium (p. 12)
In the floor
in the raised floor, with clamping ring or in a stepped bore (p. 2–3)
Applications
Where it belongs.
Offices, EDP and control rooms, and meeting rooms; the DN 200 for large volume flows (DS 1146 E p. 10).
Krantz references in the Netherlands: Schouwburg Kunstmin, Dordrecht; AEGON, The Hague; WTC Schiphol; the DB-E product page also lists Chassé Theater, Breda and the Public Library Amsterdam
When not: If users should aim the jet themselves, look at the DB-D (rotary, DS 4074e p. 5). If the air should spread low across the floor instead of rising, the Q-B fits (displacement, DS 4062 E p. 4).
