Air principle
From outlet to occupied zone.
At the outlet
Twelve radial vanes sit flush with the face. They give the air turbulence and strong induction. (DS 4012 E p. 2–3)
In the room
Horizontal radial jets that cling to the ceiling and mix quickly with the room air. (DS 4012 E p. 3)
Construction
A short spigot with a shaped face, circular or square, and built-in radial vanes. One central fixing screw with cap. Above it, a reducer or a flat plenum box. (DS 4012 E p. 2, p. 5)
Smoke test
Airflow in the Krantz lab.
A real smoke test in the Krantz flow laboratory: this is how air leaves the RA-N.

In the ceiling
in a closed suspended ceiling, above an open grid ceiling, or exposed (DS 4012 E p. 2–3).
Applications
Where it belongs.
Commercial rooms. The data sheet shows it in a boutique (DS 4012 E p. 11), a reception and a casino (p. 12), at a discharge height of 2.2 to 4.5 m (p. 12).
Krantz references in the Netherlands: Casa Rotterdam; Huis van Brabant, ‘s-Hertogenbosch; Van Lanschot Bankiers, ‘s-Hertogenbosch (old Peek site, project list, via knowledge/referenties.md)
When not: If the jet has to switch between cooling and heating, look at the RA-V (2.5 – 13 m, DS 4063 E p. 11). Above 4.5 m the RA-V2 fits (2.8 – 15 m, DS 4122 E p. 2).
