Air principle
From vane to occupied zone.
At the outlet
Fixed vanes give the supply air its twist. The curved outlet turns the jet horizontal. (DS 1175 E p. 3)
In the room
Horizontal, radial jets with high induction. They mix quickly with the room air, with no fixed jet in the occupied zone. (DS 1175 E p. 3)
Construction
A short spigot with a shaped circular face and built-in swirl vanes, fixed centrally with a plug and screw. Above it, a reducer (A, AF) or a low plenum box with side spigot (D, E). (DS 1175 E p. 2–3)

FinishColour and material
Polystyrene agate grey RAL 7038 or white RAL 9010; aluminium natural or white RAL 9010 (DN 250 – 355). (p. 14)
ConnectionReducer or box
Reducer A or AF (with support flange), or low plenum box D or E with side spigot. (p. 2)
In the ceilingFlush or visible
In a closed false ceiling, exposed, or invisibly above an open grid ceiling (DS 1175 E p. 4). Connection type A mainly for closed ceilings and above grid ceilings, type E also for exposed mounting (p. 2–3); inserted from below and fixed with a single screw (p. 3).
Applications
Where it belongs.
Commercial and industrial rooms with high demands on air distribution, such as offices, schools and hospitals (DS 1175 E p. 2), at a discharge height of 2.2 to 4.5 m (p. 4).
When not: if the outlet sits higher than 4.5 m, look at the DD-VG (discharge height 3 – 28 m, DS 4033 E p. 2) or the RA-V2 (2.8 – 15 m, DS 4122 E p. 2).
